Green Bay Packers NFL Draft 2010 Preview: Round 1 Primary Targets

Ted will have a target list of five or so players that will be no-brainer automatic pull-the-trigger choices (on his player board) if they are there at #23. While only Ted and the Packers’ inner circle know who those players are, I’m going to take a stab at it. Here are my 5 target players for the Packers at pick #23:

Should the Green Bay Packers Pick an Offensive Tackle No.1? – Stats say NO!

However, with often-injured unrestricted free agent Chad Clifton on a downward career slope, the all-important left tackle position must be addressed NOW. With any luck, the Packers will be able to bring Clifton back for at least one more year and draft a potential LT of the future.

The question is, will they be able to get that player at pick No. 23 in the first round and should they even try? Stay with me, I’ll explain what I mean
