My list of the college prospects the Packers could be targeting in rounds 4-7 of the NFL Draft.
Marcus Hardison, DE, Arizona State – Came on strong this year, has played DE and DT.
Cashaud Lyons, DE, Tusculum – Have never heard of Tusculum before. Perfect Ted pick.
Alani Fua, OLB, BYU – My sleeper OLB in this draft. Very athletic, needs to build strength.
Kyle Emanuel, OLB, N. Dakota St. – Small school demon, non-stop effort guy, football player.
Davis Tull, OLB, Chattanooga – Same as Emanuel.
Lyndon Trail, OLB, Norfolk St. – Tall edge rusher.
Max Valles, OLB, Virginia – Raw athlete, a roll of the dice.
Ramik Wilson, ILB, Georgia – High energy run stopper and pursuer.
Taiwan Jones, ILB, Michigan State – Old school powerful linebacker type.
Jeff Luc, ILB, Cincinnati – “Mr Universe” body.
TJ Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh – Biggest shock to me that he’s still on the board.
Darryl Baldwin, OT Ohio State – Sleeper right tackle type.
Tajo Fabuluje, OT, TCU – Super Sleeper. Very athletic for a man his size.
Jessee James, TE, Penn State – Tall red zone target potential.
Wes Saxton, TE, South Alabama – Undersized but uber athletic. Still learning.
Blake Bell, TE, Oklahoma – Tall, fluid – former quarterback.
Akeem Hunt, RB Purdue – Darren Sproles attributes.
Terrence Magee, RB, LSU – Do-it all type, run, catch and block.
Cody Fajardo, QB, Nevada – Super Sleeper undersized mobile QB.
Brandon Bridge, QB, S. Alabama – Has all the measurables, but inconsistent.

no, you got it wrong, Ted’s taking a rugby player, hockey player and another WR….
lol. We want badminton players too.
Ty Montgomery was a great pick . He’s the best return man in the draft. Note even close. That does two things:
1) We get a great special teams player and a sub for Cobb if needed.
2) We don’t have to see Cobb returning anything thus avoiding injury to one of our 3 or 4 most valuable players on the team.
Brilliant move.
I’d love to have Kyle Emanuel. Reminds me of Bryce Paup (1990 draft) who also came out of a small school (Northern Iowa).
I’m surprised Al didn’t mention the ILB Ryan from Michigan. He might be a decent ILB prospect. Wilson is gone so I’m really starting to hope Bradford made a huge turnaround on the scout team last season because the ILB are going quick.
Very prescient, Nick. TT pounced on Ryan. Jeff Albrecht also pleaded with TT to take Ryan in his article (Day 3 Draft Projections).
Even with the Montgomery pick, I like Darren Waller as a move TE conversion project. He would fit in well with the tone of this draft class…
