With the pressure of winning the division off, the Packers return to an aerial attack and put this one away early. I think we’ll even see Graham Harrell in the fourth quarter. | |||

As we’ve seen in the past, the Packers can play down to the level of their competition, but I don’t think even that would be enough to lose to the Titans. Wacky prediction: Crosby goes one for five on field goals and is mobbed by his teammates on the one he makes. Yeah, that’s where we are… | |||

| I was going to predict 34 points for the Packers, but then I remembered Mason Crosby is our kicker. The goal in this game should be to avoid more injuries. I watched the Titans vs Jets game on Monday because I had money on the Jets. Now I’m scarred for life after witnessing that debacle. The Packers need to get ahead early so the Titans quit playing and start thinking about what last-minute gifts they need to buy for their wives and mistresses. | |||

| I’m usually hesitant to predict a blowout, as every NFL team has talent and it takes a full team effort to completely control a game. But that’s exactly what I expect this week. The Packers defense is playing its best ball of the season, and I think they’ll shut down the Titans offense. Even if Alex Green is out, I expect the Packers to be able to run the ball with success. And oh yeah, Aaron Rodgers figures to have a field day. Packers win easily. | |||

| I think this is a big game for Mason Crosby, almost a tryout for the postseason. I expect to see head coach Mike McCarthy trot out Crosby as many times as he can; if he makes some conversions, looks consistent and confident and doesn’t completely shank a kick then I think it will help McCarthy’s trust in Crosby. On the other hand, if Crosby continues to be inconsistent and shaky at least the Packers have one week to find a kicker and give him some reps in a real game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Packers hold onto two kickers, they still like Crosby’s ability to pin returners during kickoffs, but having a plan B in case Crosby gets the yips during the playoffs would be good insurance. | |||

| The score really shouldn’t be this close based on talent but we’ve been through this several times this season. Somehow, the Packers will allow Tennessee to make a game of it and likely give up a long Chris Johnson run. I expect Rodgers and the passing game to do their part and be sharp. The run game likely struggles with some injuries on the offensive line and at running back. The Packers pull away late, however, and get win #11. | |||

| This is perhaps more of a hopeful prediction than one based purely on analysis, but I think the Packers will post a shut-out on Sunday that helps to drive their playoff momentum. The Titans won’t be able handle the weather, and while the offense scores four touchdowns, Mason Crosby goes a second consecutive game without a field goal. | |||

This is December in Lambeau a month in which the Packers have been dominat for the last 20 years , Titants are not staying in this game . Packers 30 – Titans 12.
