Is there ANY Scenario For Brett Favre to Be Back in Green Bay this Year?

For the record, I’m not saying that Favre is a great quarterback or even a good quarterback at this point; he is however is probably the best option for the Packers should events unfold the way I’ve postulated. To put it another way, who would you prefer under center, Brett Favre, Todd Collins (another likely mid-season free agent quarterback), or Graham Harrell?

Despite Success, Packers Empty Backfield Formations Will Always Make Me Nervous

Football Outsiders charted each team’s success in empty backfield formations last season. The Packers used an empty backfield 11 percent of the time (second most often in NFL) and averaged 5.5 yards per play (11th overall). Their DVOA with an empty backfield was 29.6 percent, ninth best in the league. These are good numbers. Maybe I shouldn’t worry so much.
