Two Green Bay Packers Named to PFWA ALL-NFL Team

Packers Aaron Rodgers and Josh Sitton

The Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA) announced their ALL-NFL, All-NFC and All-AFC awards today.

The Green Bay Packers offense was well represented, as named to the ALL-NFL team were QB Aaron Rodgers and Guard Josh Sitton. The ALL-NFC team naturally included Rodgers and Sitton, while also adding WR Jordy Nelson. No Packers defensive players were named.

One thing I think the PFWA voters (of which I am one) got right was naming Sitton as 1st team All-NFL over Dallas Rookie Zack Martin. While there is no discounting Martin has been great for a rookie, naming him 1st team over an established vet like Sitton was a mistake by the AP writers in their All-Pro voting.
