Name Record To-Date This Week’s Pick Score Prediction
Kris Burke 8-3 New England Patriots 42-24
If there is another hotter quarterback than Rodgers, it’s Brady. The offense will do its job, but there is no answer on the Green Bay defense for Rob Gronkowski. Clay Matthews? Please. Look for the right end to have a monster day. Super Bowl expectations in Green Bay are silenced for a bit and the Packers are humbled at home for the first time in awhile.
“Jersey” Al Bracco 9-2 New England Patriots 31-27
If there is one team this year that can come in to Lambeau and beat the Packers, it’s the Patriots. For me, the teams are pretty equal, but the difference is Bill Belichick, the game plan chameleon. While Mike McCarthy espouses “continuing to run our concepts,” Bill is preparing a plan specifically to take away what the Packers do well and exploit their weaknesses. It’s BB > MM.
Adam Czech 10-1 New England Patriots 33-27
The Packers come up short again against a Rodgers-level QB.
Thomas Hobbes 8-3 Green Bay Packers 31-28
Oh ye of little faith; all I hear is how the Packers are going to get creamed by a vastly superior Patriots. While the Patriots are indeed a good team, fans seem to have forgotten that the Packers also are a good team. Both teams match up well and this will be a tight game, but the Packers will win it.
Chad Toporski 9-2 New England Patriots 30-27
I haven’t watched enough of the Patriots to get a good feel on who they are this year, but they are as hot as the Packers right now. Unfortunately, I think they have the right match-up options to take advantage of the Packers’ weaknesses. Let’s hope I’m wrong.
Jason Perone 8-3 Green Bay Packers 35-31
My gut is telling me to pick the other way but the Lambeau factor wins me over.  It won’t be easy and the Packers are going to need some big plays late to get the win.  It’s gut check time and for this team’s true identity to be revealed heading into the season’s last quarter.  The Rodgers vs. Brady hype won’t disappoint.
Jay Hodgson 9-2 New England Patriots 38-28
Try to be positive, try to be positive, try to be positive. These are the two best teams in the NFL right now, but the Patriots are a little better and a little hotter right now. This could very well be a Super Bowl preview, and I like the Packers’ chances in February a little better than November.
Cory Jennerjohn 9-2 Green Bay Packers  30-24
The Lambeau Field magic has showed up this season and this team will find another way to win at home. Aaron Rodgers will be forced to find a third receiver and the Packers’ tight ends must produce. With the way Morgan Burnett and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix are playing, Tom Brady isn’t going to have a fun time.
Andy Burch 8-3 New England Patriots  42-24
This is the first time I’ve picked against the Packers this season and I have good reason. Belichick takes the opponent’s weaknesses and completely exploits it. The Packers weakness on defense is they are bad at stopping the run, so Belichick will pound Blount and Gray all game long. Then on third and long, if the Packers stopped the run, they will throw to Gronk, because the Packers don’t have anyone that can cover an athletic tight end, let alone the best tight end in the NFL. The Patriots on defense will use their big men up front to eat up blocks and use their athletic linebackers to stop Lacy, then they will shift coverage towards Jordy Nelson on pass plays. I expect Browner to be on Jordy and Revis to be on Cobb. Yards and points will be hard to come by for the Packers. I don’t see the Packers winning this game, hopefully they surprise me, but The Patriot’s coaching and players are just too good.

  1. The Patriots are a good team, we know this. Brady is the best QB the Packers will face this season. In spite of that the Packers can win this game. During their 7 game win streak the Pats have played well at home, like the Packers. 5 of their 7 wins during the streak came at Foxboro. Of the 2 road wins they beat Buffalo with who??? at QB and the one dimensional Colts. On offense, except for Gronk, the Packers have better weapons than Brady. On defense the Packers DBs can defend NEs WRs and with CME inside stop the run game enough to win. Gronk is going to make some plays no doubt. I hope the Packers attack early, get a lead and then pound with Lacy to eat up the clock. Davante Adams and our TEs could have a big day. Special teams can make a difference as well. Let the D loose on Brady, force a couple of turnovers and keep Gronk in check. No let up, no retreat, no surrender and take no prisoners. Pack 34 – Pats 22. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since ’61

    1. I’m with you more than with Kris, Al, Chad, Adam, Andy & Jay. I say Grokowski 200 yards 3 TD, but Packers win 42-21… Two X-factors – Andrew & Eddie!

        1. That is your opinion. Personally I do not care who win. I just want to see Packers give all the best from themselves. I’m satisfied with that!

  2. Cobb is tied for the TD reception lead and Jordy is playing at another level. Hard to see how Browner can cover either of them. The packers have mismatches to exploit also.

Can’t wait to see some confrontations between Linsley and Wilfork.

  3. Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson will be almost completely shut down in this game, and don’t hit me with that “oh ye of little faith” nonsense, It’s happened four times already this season. Should have resigned James Jones, smh.

It will take a monster day of Lacy both running and catching, Boykin and Adams finally getting out of their respective funk and actually stepping up for once, and for our TE’s to have career days. If this does happen it will be a season first, which by this point in the season is a pretty far stretch.

Sorry to say, I’m not counting on those to happen. Sure the offense will rack up like 320 yards or so, but Brady is gonna absolutely tear that defense apart.

Sorry gentlemen, this could get very ugly.
