Week 12 Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings
Name Record To-Date This Week’s Pick Score Prediction
Kris Burke 7-3 Green Bay Packers 27-24
Trap game. The Packers will struggle here just because I can’t see them putting up 50 points three weeks in a row. Still, they make one more play than the Vikings late and win in dramatic fashion.
“Jersey” Al Bracco 8-2 Green Bay Packers 42-13
Wait, so the Raiders beat the Chiefs the other night? Could the Vikings be the Packers’ foil? Um, no. It could be closer than expected if turnovers go the Vikings’ way, but I’m going with the expected result here…
Adam Czech 9-1 Green Bay Packers 30-17
The last two weeks I’ve predicted close games and the Packers went out, scored 50 points and had the game in the bag after one quarter. I’m going to stick to my cautious ways this week again and pick a comfortable Packers win, but not the blowout some might expect. The Vikings are much healthier this time around and will put up more of a fight. This is their Super Bowl, after all.
Thomas Hobbes 7-3 Green Bay Packers  24-10
The Packers are a better team in every regard so they should win this one easy. Even if the score isn’t as ridiculous as it’s been recently, the Packers should get a comfortable win outside.
Chad Toporski 8-2 Green Bay Packers  45-13
Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ … Keep that offense rollin’. No one is hotter than Aaron Rodgers and his array of weapons right now, and the Minnesota air won’t be enough to cool it down.
Jason Perone 7-3 Green Bay Packers 31-21
This is a classic “trap game” scenario but the Packers are up to the task.  It will be outdoors and in the cold in the Twin Cities for the first time in a long time in this rivalry.  If the Packers just drown out the crowd and pretend they’re at Lambeau Field, it should be another good one to watch.  The closer score means everyone watching on TV gets to see the entire game, for a change.
Jay Hodgson 8-2 Green Bay Packers 31-20
The Packers are on a roll, and if they don’t let this game become an infamous “trap game,” they should win. The Vikings can’t pass the ball very well, so if the Packers strike early and often like they have been doing, the Vikings won’t be able to catch up.
Cory Jennerjohn 8-2 Green Bay Packers 34-13
The Vikings are just playing out the string trying to put one of the most forgettable seasons in franchise history while the Packers are red hot. The first outside game between the two teams since 1981 ends up as a Green Bay rout.
Andy Burch 7-3 Green Bay Packers 35-31
The Packers have only won 2 games on the road this season and this is a very different Vikings team than the one they faced in week 5. I can’t imagine the Packers losing this game, but I also don’t think it will be a walk in the park like the last two games have been. I think Bridgewater will play well but not well enough to beat Rodgers.

    1. Hawk??? Dont even think it. it would only prolong the pain of starting him. If that did happen we would be on some hell of a roll though

  1. As long as the Packers don’t beat themselves with turnovers and or penalties they will continue to roll. Only a strong wind may slow down Rodger’s passes and even so there is no slowing down Lacy on the ground. Pack’s defense plays well again. Packers win 35- 13. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since ’61

  2. To me this is all about the weather. Sounds like temps in the low 40’s. All week in Green Bay it’s been in the teens and 20’s. So this weather in MN is actually an upgrade and like a vacation. Weather was MN’s only advantage. Sorry. Mother nature didn’t cooperate. Packers roll again.

I look for Mike Pennel and Mike Daniels to have big games. Guion also will play well in his first visit back to his former team.

    Ted
