I’m going to pick with my heart here: Although I still haven’t forgiven the Shanny/Elway led Broncos for 1997, I’m going to pick them to win it all. Mostly because I CAN’T STAND the other 3 teams.
As for this week: SEA beats SF in 7 OT’s 4-2. Kaepernick tries the read option on his own 1 and gets drilled so hard he loses all his UGLY tats – in the end zone to finish the game.
Harbaugh’s head literally blows up after the game while talking to Pam Oliver. Michael Crabtree cries and says “That’s my Quarterback”.
Kaepernick finally admits he sucks at his position and that Russell Wilson is a much better athlete, thrower and human being.
AS FOR THE OTHER GAME:
Brady throws 15 interceptions. BB decides it’s time to retire after the game and tells BSPN what REALLY happened in Spygate. Goodell docks the Pats their next 10 1st round picks and Brady is banned for life.
Broncs win 77-0.
“… I’m going to pick them to win it all. Mostly because I CAN’T STAND the other 3 teams.”
Sometimes there are the “lesser of two evils” outcomes. In this case, I’m not sure what the “lesser of four evils” turns out to be.
No need to “forgive” them for 1997. Denver was the better team that game and the arrogant approach the Packers had doomed them almost immediately. Hate to say it, but the Broncos were not the Indianapolis Colts that year.
