Thanks Brian, I have added them…
Al,
why do you think Butler has not been added to the coaching staff over the years? It seemed like after he retired he expressed an interest in it, and no one took him up on it. He played the game with incredible instincts and was the most multi-dimensional safety of his era. He impacted the game similar to Polamalu. I know he is doing some media stuff, but I was just wondering if you have any insight about his personality or relationship with the front office.
I think I remember him saying a few years ago that he didn’t want to take on the huge time commitment at the time. He wanted to stay close to his family and dabble in various endeavors – in other words, just take it easy. I would think that if he ever really wanted to do it, he would just need to ask and the Packers would at least let him be a training camp intern (like Kevin Greene got his first experience)
