Green Bay Packers Reportedly Bring Aboard 14 Undrafted Free Agents
It certainly hasn’t taken long for the NFL to return to full operation. Last night, Twitter was a flurry with reports of undrafted free agent negotiations. Here at Jersey Al’s AllGreenBayPackers.com, we highlighted three of the Green Bay Packers’ acquisitions in just the span of one hour.
As of 7:00 a.m. CT this morning, the list has grown from three to nine. Below is a quick breakdown of each reported signing; but don’t worry, we’ll take a more in-depth look at each player in the very near future.
Packers Sign Utah WR/KR Shaky Smithson
Smithson is listed as a receiver but he made his name at Utah as one of the more dynamic returners in the NCAA. While he started just four games on offense and caught only 25 passes for 383 yards his senior year, Smithson’s 19.1 yards per punt return and four 100-yard punt return games led the nation.
