Packers Video: Jay Cutler Cartoon

Perhaps not since Brett Favre joined the Minnesota Vikings have Green Bay Packers fans mocked a divisional quarterback more than Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

Cutler hasn’t done himself any favors the last two weeks either.  Back-to-back multi-interception games against the Packers as well as the Carolina Panthers have reinforced the fact that he still has a penchant for bad decision making despite the talent around him on offense.

This cartoon, while older because it references both Lovie Smith and Devin Hester, sums up Cutler perfectly and is also probably an accurate portrayal of how many Bears fans feel about their “franchise” quarterback who is not far off from becoming Jeff George 2.0, pouting and all.

  1. This cartoon had to be made by someone from Chicago. I always thought that cartoons were supposed to be funny. I’ve watched it twice just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Nope.

Thanks for helping me waste 5 minutes of my life, Kris.

  2. Cutler and Favre have the most in common if you ask me. TO machines interrupted by occasional periods of offensive wizardry.

    1. The difference, of course, being that Favre is a first ballot Hall-of-Famer, and Cutler is not. (P.S. Favre did more than throw interceptions, and had more than occasional periods of offensive wizardry)

  3. I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and all I remember is shit for qb’s as a Packers fan other than Majik before Freddie Joe Nunn knocked him out of bounds and injured his rotator cuff forever. I am so appreciative of Ron Wolf and Ted Thompson you couldn’t possibly fathom.

When you think about the Bears, if Jay Cutler was the best qb they had since Sid Luckman, that must really suck. I can relate with those guys in that cartoon as a kid in the 70’s and 80’s but not as an adult but if you think about it, is anyone even alive that remembers Sid Luckman? lol That’s a long time man!!

If you are a Bears fan, they really have no clue what it’s like to actually have an elite qb like Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre. Jay Cutler is not an elite qb despite what Peter King predicted. I kind of feel sorry for them. Not!! lol
