ALLGBP.COM  “FUBAR”  BOARD
2013 NFL DRAFT
Name Player Name & Position
College
Kris Burke Alec Ogletree, LB Georgia
Rumored drug issues and a DUI? No thanks. Ted will pass.
Manti Te’o, LB Notre Dame
A media circus in waiting that would make Tim Tebow jealous.
Tyrann Mathieu, CB LSU
Honey Boo Boo would be more welcome in the Badger State than the Honey Badger. Pun fully intended.
“Jersey” Al Bracco Justin Pugh Syracuse
Going out of my way to be different, but he’s just too similar to guys they already have and I don’t think he can pass protect as a tackle in the Pros.
Denard Robinson, ??? Michigan
Switching from QB to WR at the NFL level and competing with Pro receivers? Not a believer…
Matt Elam Florida
A 5’9 safety with Brandon Marshall and Megatron in the NFC North? No way…
Adam Czech Montee Ball, RB Wisconsin
Doesn’t seem fast enough to be  difference-maker.
Matt Elam, S Florida
Too short and too small.
Manti Te’o, LB Notre Dame
I don’t even want to deal with this guy’s nonsense. Ugh.
Marques Eversoll Alec Ogletree, LB Georgia
Ogletree had multiple off-the-field problems at Georgia and was charged with a DUI in February. Ted Thompson won’t touch him.
Tyrann Mathieu, CB LSU
People act as if Mathieu would have been a first-round pick if not for his drug problems. Not the case. He’s a third-round pick without off-the-field concerns. Period.
Da’rick Rogers, WR Tennessee Tech
Tennessee dismissed him from its program after multiple failed drug tests and run-ins with the coaching staff. Rodgers to Rogers sounds cool, but forget about it.
Thomas Hobbes Alec Ogletree, LB Georgia
Nothing says you have no idea how to be a professional like getting arrested for a DUI right before your interview (i.e. the combine).  Add to that preexisting character concerns and he’s probably not even on the Packers board.
Travis Kelce, TE Cincinnati
One of the bigger mysteries of the draft, what was Kelce suspended for all of 2010 and why is Cincinnati covering it up?  I can’t think of a positive reason, can you?
Shamarko Thomas, SS Syracuse
Plays like Bob Sanders and probably will have his career ended like Sanders too.  Extensive injury history, most concerning being multiple concussions; the NFL doesn’t mess concussions, just look at Javid Best.
Jason Perone Eddie Lacy, RB Alabama
That’s right, a complete about-face from me on Lacy.  I have concerns about his health and work ethic.  Not the most ideal back for the Packers.
Jarvis Jones, OLB Georgia
Any time you hear “spinal” mentioned with regards to a football player’s health, it’s a bad combination.  Especially a linebacker.
Alec Ogletree, LB Georgia
Nothing against Georgia, he just happens to be the guy who played next to Jones.  Ogletree is a head case and already comes with a “buyer beware” label.
Chad Toporski Manti Te’o, LB Notre Dame
Say “no” to Te’o. Overrated and carries way too much baggage.
Cordarrelle Patterson, WR Tennessee
A receiver whose red flags are route running and diagnostic problems? Not in a McCarthy/Rodgers offense.
Jarvis Jones, OLB Georgia
The last thing the Packers or its fans need is another player with injury problems. Better to be safe than sorry.

  1. I’m with you on Justin Pugh. Of all the players I have seen mocked to the Packers, I don’t think there is a player I would be more disappointed with in the 1st round.

  2. You guys are right on with all of your observations. I will be curious what teams set the hooks on these suckers

  3. I’m assuming ya’ll are talking about the first round only. Else you’d be crazy not to take Ogletree or Elam later on.

  4. Any serious injury issues were cleared with Jarvis Jones. He’s about a big of an injury risk as any other player.
