AMEN Kris. Agreed 100% with this. I also don’t think that this is gonna be a shootout. It’s either a slugfest, with either we or them winning, or a blowout for us, with Martz’ system and the Bears’ secondary being overly exposed.

    • Chad Toporski

Ditto. I highly doubt this will be a shoot-out. We don’t even have to look much farther past last year’s games as proof of that.

Sure, both offenses seemed to have improved, but so have both defenses.

One thing I did not mention in the article and should have is Cutler’s arrogance. When he gets on a roll, he gets cocky and can cost his team some games. There is reason he has yet to appear in the playoffs.

I anticipate a close game, with the Bears driving for a tying score before Cutler is picked off. 27-20 Packers

Tough call. You never know about division games. Generally both teams know each other VERY well. We’ve seen Martz in the division before (Lions) and he isn’t going to win this himself. Capers is more than capable of putting something together that should slow them down.

I still question his use of the TE. Olsen has to be their best receiver but Martz likes to use his TEs in a more traditional role as a blocker.

I don’t see Devon Hester continuing his early success. He’s had a couple of nice plays but can’t be counted on be #1 receiver.

I really don’t care much for Martz. Probably one of the most arrogant coaches in the league.

    • Kris Burke

Methinks that is why Martz went unhired for so long before the Bears picked him up and they were desperate.

Keeping Forte in check and not allowing Olsen to immitate Finley we will win easily. If we cannot control the damage of the previous two,we get sliced by a dull(Cutler) knife that we help to sharpen.

Not worried so much about Olsen, but Forte is definitely a concern. Now as a pass-catching threat, too.

      • Kris Burke

Yep. The Packers will have their hands full with him and Best the next two games.

We better do well on Monday. On top of everything else, my fantasy team is loaded with Packers. :)
